2nd annual Run for the Plunge adds 15K to 5K festivities

What: 2nd annual Run for the Plunge 15K (9.3-mile) and 5K (3.1-mile) runs at Rocky Gap State Park in Flintstone, MD

When: Saturday, March 6, 2010

Where: Rocky Gap State Park, Flintstone, Md.

Primary sponsor: Mainheim Corporation - your Total Building Solution

Benefit: Allegany County Special Olympics

Entry fee:
5K run/walk: $10 if received by Friday, March 6; $15 on race day.
15K run: $12 if received by Friday, March 6; $17 on race day.

Timeline of events:
7 a.m.: Race-day registration and packet pick-up opens
7:45 a.m.: 15K start
8:30 a.m.: 5K start
9:30 a.m. combined awards (will be moved sooner if conditions permit)
